Mind-body practices such as gentle yoga, meditation, and qigong are among the most effective research-based tools for improving mental wellbeing, supporting healthy brain chemistry, and balancing the nervous system. In this 7-week course, learn simple and effective practices that optimize mental health and psychological resilience even and especially when going through painful and adverse life experiences. Establish a relationship of safety, caretaking, and compassion towards yourself. No prior experience with yoga, meditation or qigong is required. This class is suitable for everyone, regardless of physical limitations. It is okay if you cannot attend every single week. Each session will be recorded so that participants may view them or revisit them at a later date.
