Gentle Pilates improves overall fitness by strengthening all major muscle groups. Build core strength, muscle tone, back health, joint stability, bone density, coordination, circulation, and stabilization of the low back, hips, and pelvis. Strength-building exercise done with the support of healthy breathing is also highly effective for boosting mood, energy levels, and brain health.
All poses are done on the floor in a supine, prone, and all-fours position. Beginners are welcome. Move at your own pace and honor your body’s needs while exploring what is possible.
This is an online weekly group class offered via ZOOM, an easy-to-use online conference space that you can access via your phone, tablet, or computer. Participants receive once-per-week reminder emails on Sunday afternoon containing a secure link to access the class.
