4-Day ๐ŸŒฑ At-Home ๐ŸŒฑ Online Meditation Immersion

Thursday July 25th โ€“ Sunday July 28th

Participants choose their own level of participation and design their own personal retreat according to what feels most supportive for each personโ€™s schedule, wellness needs, and aspirations at this time. Examples of how you might design your retreat:

๐Ÿ”น Once per day practice

๐Ÿ”น Twice per day practice

๐Ÿ”น Skip a day as needed

๐Ÿ”น Participate in the full schedule

๐Ÿ”น As many practice sessions as you like on as many days as you like

All retreat sessions are held on Zoom. Registrants receive a pre-retreat handout with suggestions for creating an at-home meditation space as well as other ways to create the right conditions for a successful at-home retreat experience.

Five practice sessions are offered each day from Thursday through Saturday. One final practice session is held on Sunday morning followed by an optional group reflection to close the retreat.

Participants will learn and practice a variety of meditation techniques.

In each session, participants are encouraged to choose a meditation posture that best suits their body’s needs from moment to moment, including seated, standing, reclined, or lying-down postures. Postural tips will be offered throughout the weekend.

Participants are invited to shift meditation posture as needed throughout the course of each session to honor their body’s needs. Seated meditation can be done on a chair or a cushion; lying-down meditation can be done on the bed or the floor.

Each session includes gentle moving meditation and tension-release practices (such as qigong, lujong, and yoga).

Participants may arrive late to sessions or leave early, as needed.

During the course of the retreat, participants are encouraged to contact the retreat instructor with any questions or challenges that arise.

Participants have the opportunity to reflect and share about their experience on the final day of retreat.

When registering, participants may include a post-retreat private session with the retreat instructor to reflect, debrief, explore struggles and insights, and ask follow-up questions. One-on-one sessions can be done online over Zoom or in-person in either of my office locations in Hendersonville or Weaverville.
